Starting out as a home care service OrthoGo has evolved into a comprehensive out-patient Physical Therapy Clinic in the heart of McHenry, Illinois at 4151 W. Treatment focus has always been in Orthopaedics, the care of musculo-skeletal problems, using the McKenzie Method.
In addition OrthoGo specializes in Spine rehabilitation, Industrial evaluation and treatment and Sport specific rehab and performance exercise. A new addition in 2009 is our on-site Therapeutic Pool. It is equipped with a “Endless Pool” feature which creates a resistive current if so desired.
The clinic is 3000 sq ft. Designed with
patient input, the treatment rooms are
tastefully decorated with relaxation, comfort
and privacy in mind. Unlike many facilities
where curtained cubicles and a “sterile”
medical environment are the norm. The
gym has a sports and industrial theme.
There are basic, time-tested, pieces of
exercise equipment designed to get the job
done in a cost and time efficient manner, no
‘bells and whistles’. An industrial testing
and rehabilitation area which not only
focuses on exercise but functional/ real-life
tasks as well. A sports cage for
hitting, throwing, kicking, etc. to facilitate
and fine tune the sports rehabilitation client.
Scheduling an appointment is just a
phone call away. There is 24/7 voice mail/ answering for questions or concerns. Our
clinic hours are by appointment, Monday
thru Friday, beginning at 9 am and going
as late as necessary most evenings.
