Scott J Schultz PT, Cert MDT founded OrthoGo Physical Therapy in 1988 when he discovered a need for traditional out patient services in patient homes and businesses. As time and the market changed Scott responded by opening the first OrthoGo Physical Therapy Clinic in 2002, splitting time between home care and the clinic. Since then, the increasing demand for clinical services have been the core of OrthoGo Physical Therapy’s market. Scott, is a 1980 graduate of The University of Health Sciences/ The Chicago Medical School Physical Therapy Program. In addition to his clinical duties he has been active in the profession as a past Vice-President, District Chairperson, Committee member and Delegate to the National House of Delegates representing the Illinois Physical Therapy Association. He continues to be a member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and Illinois Physical Therapy Associations. Currently he is the Secretary of the Illinois Physical Therapy Private Practice Forum. Scott continues keeping himself informed of the latest trends in Physical Therapy by attending educational programs on a regular basis. He became a Credentialed provider of the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment by the McKenzie Institute USA in 1996. Scott became a Licensed provider for Work Well Systems Inc. in 2005 and DSI Work Solutions Inc. in 2006 in Industrial Evaluation and Treatment. Most recently in 2009 he became certified in the ASTYM approach of soft tissue management. On the personal side, Scott has lived/ worked in McHenry County since 1982. He is a past member of the McHenry Area Jaycees and Past-President and Hall of Fame member of the Ibex Ski Club. He enjoys the many outdoor activities McHenry Co. has to offer and is an avid fan of both the Chicago Bears and Chicago Wolves hockey team.
